Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how NPrep Edtech Private Limited ("NPrep", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit nationalnursingolympiad.com (the "Website") or register for the NPrep Nursing Olympiad 2026 (the "Olympiad"). Registering creates or uses your NPrep account, so the NPrep Privacy Policy also applies to that account. By using the Website you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Mobile number, to send you a one-time password (OTP) and verify it is yours.
- Registration details: your full name, course, year or semester and college.
- Payment details: the amount, status and reference of your payment. Payments are handled by Razorpay; we do not receive or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank login.
- Prize details, only if you win: identity and age proof, PAN and bank account details, needed to verify you and pay the prize.
- Anything you send us when you contact support.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser details, IP address, pages viewed, buttons clicked and the time spent on the Website.
- During the proctored test: activity on the test platform and the proctoring data that stage requires, used to prevent cheating.
- Small files stored in your browser (cookies and local storage) that keep you signed in, remember your registration and measure visits and ads (see section 4).
2. How we use your information
- To register you, take your payment and confirm your registration.
- To run the Olympiad: give you access to each stage, prevent cheating, evaluate results, issue certificates and award prizes.
- To contact you about your registration, the Olympiad, results and NPrep's courses and offers, by SMS, phone call, WhatsApp, email or in-app notification.
- To provide support, keep the Website secure, and understand and improve how it is used.
- To measure our advertising and show relevant NPrep ads.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:
- Razorpay, to process your payment.
- Service providers that host the Website and the test platform, send OTPs and messages, and provide analytics (MoEngage) and advertising measurement (Meta). For ad measurement your mobile number is sent to Meta only in hashed (scrambled) form.
- NPrep's group companies, for the purposes in this Policy.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or to prevent fraud and protect the rights and safety of users and NPrep.
- If you win or are ranked: the public, as your name, college, photo and result in the results announcement.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The Website uses local storage to keep you signed in and remember your registration, and uses MoEngage and the Meta Pixel to understand visits and measure ads. You can clear or block these in your browser settings; parts of the Website, such as staying signed in, may then not work.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your NPrep account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above, including results records, certificates and the periods required by tax and other laws. Prize verification documents are kept only as long as needed for verification, payment and tax records.
6. Security
We use reasonable security practices to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can ask to see, correct or update your information by contacting us.
- You can opt out of promotional messages at any time. We will still send messages you need about your registration, tests and results.
- You can withdraw consent or ask us to delete your information by writing to administration@nprep.in. We aim to act on this within 5 business days. Withdrawing consent may mean you can no longer take part in the Olympiad, and some records may have to be kept where the law requires it.
8. Children
If you are under 18, please register only with the consent of your parent or legal guardian.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy by changing this page; the date at the top shows the latest version.
